The Design
These beaded hoop earrings are handwoven bead-by-bead with Miyuki Delica beads in matte OP glazed sienna and 24k gold plate. The warm sienna color brings an earthy richness that pairs beautifully with the subtle glow of gold. The open hoop shape keeps the design clean and modern while the beadwork adds texture and quiet movement.
Each pair is carefully stitched onto a brass frame in my Port Aransas studio. Structured but lightweight, they add just enough presence without feeling heavy.
Craftsmanship
Each earring is woven with precision using 85 tiny Miyuki Delica beads per earring (170 beads per pair). The beads are stitched onto a brass hoop frame using ultra-strong FireLine thread for durability and structure. The brass is sealed with ProtectaClear to help resist tarnish and skin discoloration, and the antique gold-plated earwires are lightweight and comfortable for extended wear.
This is slow, careful work — the kind of detail you notice when you look closely.
