The Design
These beaded hoop earrings are handwoven bead-by-bead with Miyuki Delica beads in matte OP glazed Nile blue and soft matte 24K gold plate. The Nile blue color brings a calm, coastal feel that pairs beautifully with warm gold. The open hoop shape keeps the look clean while the beadwork adds depth and texture.
Each pair is stitched carefully onto a brass frame in my Port Aransas studio, creating earrings that feel balanced, lightweight, and easy to wear.
Craftsmanship
Each earring is woven with 85 Miyuki Delica beads per earring (170 beads per pair) using ultra-strong FireLine thread. The beads are stitched onto a brass hoop frame to create a structured arc of color and detail.
The brass is sealed with ProtectaClear to help resist tarnish, and the antique gold-plated earwires are lightweight and comfortable for extended wear.

- Miyuki delica beads (size 11/0) in matte OP Nile blue and 24 kt. gold plate
- Brass teardrop frames coated with Protectaclear (a jewelry-grade sealant that prevents tarnishing and skin discoloration)
- FireLine beading thread (ultra-strong braided thread used for precision beadwork)
- Antique gold-plated brass earwires (nickel-free)
