The Design

These teardrop turquoise and gold beaded hoop earrings are handwoven bead-by-bead with Miyuki Delica beads and warm 24K gold-plated accents. Turquoise glass sits against antique gold for a palette that feels coastal, collected, and easy to wear. The open teardrop shape keeps the look clean, while the beadwork adds texture and soft movement. Each pair is carefully stitched onto a brass frame in my Port Aransas studio. Structured, but still fluid. Noticeable, but lightweight.

Craftmanship

Each earring is woven with precision using 85 tiny Miyuki Delica beads per earring (170 beads per pair) in turquoise and gold tones. I stitch them carefully onto a brass teardrop frame to create a balanced arc of color and texture.

This is slow, careful work — the kind of detail you notice when you look closely.
