Raven Fringe Earrings – Handwoven

The Design

These raven fringe earrings combine bold imagery with intricate beadwork. The raven takes shape bead by bead, with subtle gray beadwork defining the feathers, beak, and eye. Long flowing fringe extends below, adding graceful movement to the design. The color palette of cream, black, blue, grey, and pearl pewter gives the earrings a natural, understated elegance. The combination feels both earthy and graphic, allowing the raven design to stand out while remaining surprisingly versatile.

Craftsmanship

Each pair of earrings is carefully handwoven bead by bead using 1,512 Miyuki Delica beads to create the raven silhouette and flowing fringe. The beadwork is stitched using strong FireLine and Wawak bonded polyester thread, chosen for durability and long-lasting wear. The fringe is arranged to create soft movement while keeping the design balanced and lightweight. Every bead is placed individually, building the pattern and texture of the piece one bead at a time. These earrings are woven by hand in my Port Aransas studio using a pattern by OpalAndOliveDesigns.
